Jegah Road studs can be categorized by colour, which indicates their function, or by material, which affects their durability and application. Common coloured studs include white for lane separation, red for the left edge of the road, amber for the central reservation, and green for slip roads and lay-bys.

Jegah Types by material supply (include plastic, aluminum, and glass) :

By colour (function):

White: Mark the centre line of a road or the division between lanes.
Red: Mark the left-hand edge of the carriageway. They indicate a line that should not be crossed.
Amber: Mark the central reservation on motorways and dual carriageways, or the right-hand edge of a one-way road.
